COURSE OVERVIEW:
AFF First Jump course
The two day training course will be your launchpad to your first freefall skydive in Melbourne.
You will go to 10,000ft with two instructors beside you to make sure
you enjoy your first skydive experience safely
Day 1
You will be introduced to your course instructor who is a highly experienced
and accredited person within the Australian Parachute Federation. Throughout the day
they will cover a broad range of topics designed to make your first jump as safe
and memorable as possible. You will learn what will be required of you as well as
practical work covering safety and what to do whilst in freefall, under canopy and landing.
At the end of the day, you will be required to sit a multiple-choice exam
and then cover the requirements for your first jump sequence.
Day 2
Once your exam has the tick of approval, we will move into some additional ground training
from which point you will be introduced to the Accelerated Freefall skydiving instructors that
will be accompanying you on your jump. After a final run through and checks, we go and skydive.
REQUIREMENTS:
Age - from 16 years upwards, with under 18’s needing guardian consent.
Student should never be under the influence of any drugs and alcohol.
FUN! - it is mandatory to have a great time and unforgettable experience.
